  • Grind a few garlic cloves into a paste.
  • Add two to three teaspoons of lime juice. Mix them well.
  • Apply the mixture thoroughly onto the scalp.
  • Leave it on for a half an hour and then rinse the hair thoroughly with hot water.

2.) Baby Oil for Lice

Another effective and easy natural treatment for head lice is baby oil. You can use it with laundry detergent and some white vinegar. It is believed that baby oil helps suffocate the head lice. Here is the simple process of using this for preventing and killing lice.

  • Apply the adequate amount of baby oil on your hair.
  • Comb your hair slowly so that lice start falling from your head.
  • Wash your hair with laundry detergent and warm water.

The oil is heavy and helps to slow the lice and makes it easy to remove them. For this, you need to separate your hair into several smaller sections. For kids who are below the age of 2, it is difficult to use other remedies or products for them you can use a fine nit comb and avoid medicated treatments.
